However, with an agreement to tame the fox upon his request, the little prince has learned, finally, the true meaning of friendship and the things that make his rose different from others. Before leaving the earth, his thoughtfulness and his love for the rose deeply impressed the pilot who had landed on a nearby desert in a plane accident. And this pilot is the one who tells the tale.
